Is it permissible for a menstruating woman to return the Mushaf and touch it from the outside upon request, and what should she do to avoid embarrassment?

It is forbidden for a menstruating woman to touch the Mushaf (copy of the Quran), based on the Almighty's saying: "None touch it except the purified" [Quran 56:79], and the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "None should touch the Quran except one who is pure." Therefore, it is not permissible for a woman to touch the Mushaf while she is menstruating, even if her father orders her to do so, for there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator. A woman can inform her father that she is not in a state of ritual purity.
