What should the questioner do regarding her aunt's (45 years old) involvement with a sorcerer, which has affected her mother and made her fear its impact on herself as well, especially after hearing about their visits to the graveyard, in addition to her concern about her delayed marriage (27 years old)?

Going to fortune-tellers and sorcerers is among the major sins. In the Hadith (definition), it is stated: "Whoever goes to a diviner and asks him about something, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights," and "Whoever goes to a soothsayer and believes what he says has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad." If the aunt has repented, it is not permissible to accuse her of ill-intention without clear proof. One should fortify oneself with the Quran and remembrances, observe the morning and evening adhkar, and perform Ruqyah (definition) (Islamic exorcism) for those who fear the evil eye, jinn possession, or magic. Marriage is a provision (from Allah), and it is sought through supplication and seeking help from close relatives to find spouses.
