Is Ibn Arabi an infidel and a heretic as some scholars say, or is he a Mujtahid as others say, and does his belief in the Oneness of Existence make him an infidel?

Ibn ʿArabi is one of the imams of deviation and misguidance, and he has blasphemous statements, among them his assertion of Pharaoh's faith, which is a known disbelief by necessity in the religion of Islam, unprecedented before him. Ibn Daqiq al-ʿId described him as an evil, lying shaykh who claims the world is pre-eternal and does not forbid illicit sexual relations, and also mentioned his story with the jinn. A number of judges issued fatwas that his book, "Al-Fusus," contains major disbelief. Ibn Hisham al-Ansari said that the book "Fusus al-Hikam" is a book of misguidance and falsehood. Al-Dhahabi said that whoever deeply examines "Al-Fusus" will realize that its author is either one of the Unionists, or that his sayings are among the most egregious forms of disbelief, and that it is better for a Muslim to live in ignorance than with this gnosis. Al-Biqaʿi authored a work declaring Ibn ʿArabi a disbeliever. And Ibn ʿArabi is a proponent of the blasphemous doctrine of the unity of existence (Wahdat al-Wujud).
