Is the commission that the husband receives for referring care cases to another hospital unlawful (haram), and is repentance and getting rid of the amount already spent sufficient?

It is not permissible for a husband to work for any entity other than the hospital where he is employed during working hours, except with the administration's permission. Otherwise, he commits a sin, and the commission he earns in such a case is a matter of dispute. Furthermore, his directing patients to another place to obtain a commission, while there are vacant beds in the hospital where he works, constitutes clear harm to the hospital and a breach of work trust. However, if he does so due to a lack of vacant beds and it does not affect his work, he is permitted to take the commission. He must review previous commissions; whatever rightfully belongs to the hospital, he must return it or seek absolution from the administration.
