What is the ruling on a wife who left the marital home and has been angry for two months since Ramadan, and refuses to return to her husband's house, despite her husband going to her, because he reproached her for her dishonesty with his money?

What the wife did is considered an act of disobedience (nushuz) for which she incurs sin, and her financial support (nafaqah) is forfeited until she returns to her husband's home and obedience. She must fear Allah concerning her husband, for obeying him is part of obeying Allah, and it is an act of disobedience for her to abandon her husband's home without a legitimate Shar'i reason. Her husband has great rights over her, and her action contradicts the objectives of marriage, which are affection and tranquility. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Were I to command anyone to prostrate to anyone, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband."
