What food did Allah forbid the Children of Israel from consuming?

Allah did not forbid any food to the Children of Israel before the revelation of the Torah. All food was lawful for them, except what Jacob forbade for himself as an example to follow, not because of a prohibition from Allah.

After the revelation of the Torah, Allah forbade some good things to them due to their transgression and injustice, such as every animal with an undivided hoof, and the fat of cattle and sheep, except what their backs carried, or what was in the entrails, or what was mixed with bone.
