Is it permissible to refrain from donating to the mosque and from paying the monthly subscription as a means of pressuring the administration to respond to the community's demands? And is it permissible to spend usurious money to purchase and print booklets introducing Islam and distribute them to non-Muslims, or to spend it on da'wah activities?

If the mosque's subscription is a donation, its owner is not obliged to continue it. Disputes between the mosque community and its administration should be resolved. As for money acquired from prohibited usurious interests, it is permissible to spend it on printing Islamic booklets, da'wah activities, and all matters that serve the general welfare of Muslims. It is also permissible to give it to the poor and needy, and it becomes lawful for them, based on the statement of Imam An-Nawawi: "And if he gives it [the unlawful money] to the poor, it is not unlawful for the poor but rather lawful and good."
