When does a woman pray on Friday, is it at the time of the sermon or after it?

The time for the Dhuhr prayer begins when the sun declines from its zenith and extends until the shadow of everything becomes equal to its height. This is the legal Islamic definition for the time of the Dhuhr prayer. For those upon whom Friday prayer is not obligatory, such as women, it is permissible for them to pray Dhuhr at any part of this time, whether during the Friday sermon or after it. Ibn Qudamah stated in Al-Mughni: "As for those upon whom the Friday prayer is not obligatory, such as the traveler, the slave, the woman, the sick, and all other excused individuals, they may pray Dhuhr before the Imam's prayer according to the majority of scholars." If a woman is close to the mosque or has a way to listen to the sermon, there is no harm in her listening to it and then praying Dhuhr.
