Is it permissible for a father to curse his teenage son with obscene words like "you whore" in front of people?

It is not permissible for your father to curse you with phrases that include slander. You must be dutiful to your father and accompany him with kindness, no matter how much he wrongs you, and obey him in what he commands of good, as long as there is no harm to you in it, even if it involves tolerable hardship. Dutifulness to parents is among the causes of success and prosperity in this world and the hereafter, for "the father is the middle gate of Paradise; so if you wish, you may neglect this gate or preserve it."
