Is it permissible for a man to marry a woman whom he rescued from a brothel, given that all the conditions for marriage are met, and knowing that the woman is an adulteress?

It is not permissible for a chaste person to marry an adulteress until after her repentance and the cleansing of her womb, and this is the most preponderant opinion. If the marriage takes place before her repentance, it is valid, though disliked, according to the majority of scholars. And whoever marries her with the intention of making her chaste and helping her repent will be rewarded for his good intention and beautiful deed, based on the Almighty’s saying: ﴿Indeed, Allah does not wrong [even as much as] an atom's weight; and if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward﴾, and His saying: ﴿So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it﴾. It is stipulated that this must be after the adulteress's repentance, not before it.
