What is the ruling regarding a husband divorcing his wife by saying, "You are permanently divorced," during a severe fit of anger, especially after he had previously divorced her once?

If a husband utters a divorce (talaq) while in a state of extreme anger that prevented him from careful consideration, and had it not been for that anger, he would not have divorced, then the preponderant opinion is that it does not take effect. A triple or permanent divorce counts as a single divorce, but if it was uttered in extreme anger, then nothing takes effect. The husband must manage his anger, and the wife must avoid what provokes it.
