Is it permissible to combine prayers if it becomes a habit, and is it permissible to withdraw from the congregation during the combination if the combination is invalid?

If there is no valid excuse permitting the combining of two prayers, one must refrain from doing so. If a person joins a congregation that will combine prayers in a manner not permissible by Sharia, he should pray the first prayer with them but not the second.
