Does the "first Ignorance" mentioned in the verse "And do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of Ignorance" [Al-Ahzab:33] imply that there is a second Ignorance, and what is it if it exists?

Scholars have differed on the meaning of "first" (al-ula) in His Almighty's saying, "the display of the former times of ignorance (Jahiliyyah al-ula)." Some said it is a descriptive adjective revealing the Jahiliyyah because it preceded Islam. Others said it is a restrictive adjective and considered the Jahiliyyah to be two periods. For those who believe in the "first Jahiliyyah," there are four opinions: that it was between Idris and Noah, or during the time of Abraham, or between Noah and Adam, or between Jesus and Muhammad.
