All forms of cheating are forbidden, as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats is not of me." Forgetfulness is not an excuse for cheating. Rather, a Muslim should seek help from Allah, rely on Him, entrust his affairs to Him, and supplicate to Him to remind him of what he forgets. He should also say, when a matter becomes difficult for him: "O Allah, there is no ease except what You make easy, and You make sorrow easy if You wish." If forgetfulness generally afflicts him, then there is no harm in him consulting specialized doctors.
