Does cheating remain forbidden with the spread of electronic cheating among students, and are those who patiently refrain from cheating in these circumstances rewarded?

The prevalence of cheating in exams does not make it permissible. Islam has forbidden cheating due to the deception and fraud it entails against others. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever cheats us is not of us." This applies to all forms of cheating and deception in any field or against anyone's rights. Cheating in exams is a blameworthy and forbidden act, considered an injustice to oneself and a betrayal of the nation; because the student who passes an exam through cheating will undertake a responsibility they are not proficient in. Furthermore, the corruption of people does not permit cheating and deception. A Muslim must fear Allah, adhere to His commands, and avoid His prohibitions. One should not use the corruption of the times as an excuse to commit unlawful acts, but rather remain steadfast and cling to their religion, for which there is a great reward.
