What is the ruling on paying 500 Tunisian dinars as a bribe to get a job in a bank, while feeling extreme remorse for doing so?

If the bank you dealt with is an interest-based (usurious) bank, then working there is severely forbidden. The questioner was saved by not working there. Bribery is forbidden, and it is not permissible to pay it to achieve even permissible things, so how about forbidden ones? Allah has cursed the one who gives a bribe, the one who takes it, and the intermediary. What the questioner did by seeking to work in interest-based banks and paying a bribe to get the job is forbidden, and he must avoid it in the future and regret it. If he can reclaim what he paid as a bribe, then let him do so.
