What is the ruling on one who prays while his garment is level with the ankles or slightly below?
The izarah (lower garment) of a Muslim should reach to mid-calf. There is no harm in it being anywhere between that and the ankles. However, if it extends below the ankles, its wearer is threatened with Hellfire. Prayer is valid in both cases.
