One must think well of a Muslim and avoid ill thoughts and spying, because suspicion leads to searching and investigating. Using a different name to speak with one's wife is not a sin in itself, but it is wrong if its cause is suspicion without evidence. Leading one's wife into sins to test her is wrong, and even if she responds, it is not proof of her previous deviation. This approach is not beneficial; rather, it is harmful and may encourage the wife to disobey and increase suspicion. It is better to care for the wife through communication and visits, invite her to goodness, increase her faith, and settle her near righteous family or neighbors. Most importantly, one should shorten the period of absence from her for the sake of accumulating money, as safeguarding her chastity and her rights is more deserving.
