Is it permissible for a woman to benefit from the full price of a house she inherited, half of which her brother sold to her, knowing that her father had gifted her half of the house and gifted her brother the other half, and he has 12 sons and daughters?

A father must be just among his children in giving gifts, whether they are male or female. Preferring some over others without a legitimate Islamic reason is considered an injustice and oppression. This is based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Be mindful of Allah and be just among your children." If a father singles out some children for a gift without a legitimate Islamic reason, he has sinned, and he must either be just or have the one who was favored return the surplus. Otherwise, the one who was favored must return what exceeded his share to his siblings to achieve justice.
