Will the husband incur sin or guilt if he divorces his wife for the second time after she reverted to her previous behaviors of not adhering to the teachings of Islam and threatening to engage in an illicit relationship out of revenge?

A woman is not permitted to accuse her husband without proof. If his actions are proven, she must advise him. It is forbidden for her to seek a relationship with another man out of spite for her husband. If she persists in these behaviors, it is recommended to try and reform her for the sake of the children. If she does not respond to advice, it is desirable to divorce her, as it has been reported that three individuals supplicate to Allah and their prayers are not answered, among them "a man who had a wife of bad character and did not divorce her."
