What is the ruling on the prayer of someone who said "Subhana Rabbi al-A'la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High) instead of "Subhana Rabbi al-Adheem" (Glory be to my Lord, the Almighty) in rukoo' (bowing), then performed sujood al-sahw (prostration of forgetfulness), but then doubted whether he performed the two prostrations of forgetfulness or the original two prostrations, and whether he recited the tashahhud or not? What is the ruling on someone who suffers from intermittent flatulence continuing to be subject to the ruling of سلس (incontinence)? What is the ruling on doubting the emission of a drop of urine after drinking when experiencing frequent urges to urinate? And what is the correct wording of the tashahhud, and what are the pillars of wudu' (ablution) and is order (tartib) obligatory therein?

We advise those who experience frequent whisperings (waswas) to disregard them and pay them no mind. It is not prescribed for him to perform the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud (definition) al-sahw) if he doubts saying "Subhana Rabbiyal-A'la" instead of "Subhana Rabbiyal-Azeem" in the bowing (ruku'), nor should he pay attention to his doubts about not reciting the tashahhud (definition), or not performing the two prostrations (sujud). His prayer is valid.

As for the emission of wind, if it is intermittent, meaning it stops for a duration sufficient for ablution (wudu) and prayer, then it is not considered سلس ( سلس, a continuous flow or incontinence). However, if it is continuous, meaning it does not stop for a duration sufficient for that, then it falls under the ruling of سلس. Similarly, if urine comes out at separate times, stopping for a duration sufficient for ablution and prayer, then it is not سلس.

Reciting the tashahhud is sufficient with any formulation authentically reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him). The pillars of ablution are: intention (niyyah (definition)), washing the face, washing the hands up to the elbows, wiping over the head, and washing the feet up to the ankles, along with maintaining proper order (tartib) and continuity (muwalat).
