Is my grandmother's Hajj acceptable, given that she went outside the boundaries of Arafat by one or two steps at night?

If the mother steps out of the boundaries of Arafat by one or two steps while standing, there is no blame upon her, and her Hajj is valid and accepted. This is because standing is sufficient by being present in Arafat, even for a short time before the dawn of the Day of Sacrifice, and due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Hajj is Arafat." Obedience is accepted from a Muslim if they are a believer and in accordance with Allah's law. The Taqwa (piety) that guarantees acceptance here means avoiding polytheism (shirk).
