What is the ruling on a female teacher receiving gifts from students, and does the hadith: "Had you remained in your parents' house" apply to her?

It is permissible for a Muslim female teacher to accept gifts from her students, provided that these gifts do not lead to favoritism or neglect of her obligatory duties. Otherwise, it is considered a prohibited bribe. If the teacher fulfills her duties completely without favoritism, then it is permissible for her to accept the gift, especially if refusing it would cause embarrassment. Nevertheless, she may refrain from accepting it out of piety.
