The answer

It is permissible to transport the deceased from the place of death to another place for burial if the نقل (transport) is for a legitimate purpose, such as the country to which they are transported being virtuous or close to the deceased's family, or the country from which they are transported being unsafe, or its people being non-Muslims, or there being no specific cemeteries for them. This is on condition that the transport is suitable for the deceased and does not violate their sanctity or expose them to dismemberment. This is the madhhab (school of thought) of the Malikis and Hanbalis.
