What is the ruling on my continuing to pray when I am afflicted with obsessive whispers (waswasa) that it is invalid, knowing that I suffer from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)?

A person afflicted with obsessive doubts (waswas) should disregard them and pay them no mind. Whenever Satan deludes him into thinking that his prayer or purification has been invalidated, he should not interrupt his worship but rather continue with it, knowing that it is valid and accepted. He is accountable for what Allah has legislated, and in this situation, he has been charged with not paying attention to the obsessive doubt. If he does so, he is absolved of responsibility.
