Is it permissible for the bride to delay the prayer until the end of the wedding, or is it obligatory for her to stop the wedding for the prayer?

Prayer is the pillar of faith and the first thing a person will be held accountable for on the Day of Judgment. Islam has commanded its observance under all circumstances. Prayer does not cease to be obligatory as long as a Muslim retains their mental faculties, and it must be performed to the best of one's ability: standing, sitting, or lying down. A wedding is not an excuse to delay prayer beyond its prescribed time, nor does it negate the desirability of attending congregational prayer.
