Does bathing immediately after the wedding night affect the bride's health, and is it permissible for a woman to remain without prayer for a long time?

This custom is invalid and contradicts the rulings of Islam. Prayer is a pillar of the religion and is obligatory. It is not permissible for the bride to delay it beyond its prescribed time due to ritual impurity except after performing ghusl (ritual bath). Delaying prayer beyond its time without a valid excuse is a grave sin. We advise maintaining prayer, because abandoning it, whether during the honeymoon or at any other time, is one of the major sins.
