What is the obligatory amount of zakat on funds earned from a farm granted by the state, given that the electricity and irrigation are the responsibility of the farm owner, and these funds have not yet completed a hawl (lunar year)?

Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam. Delaying it beyond its due time is an injustice, and one must hasten to pay it immediately, coupled with repentance. Grains and fruits are subject to Zakat if they reach the nisab (threshold), and the obligatory amount is half of one-tenth (5%) if irrigation involves cost. It should be paid from the produce itself, or its monetary value if the produce has been sold and it is not possible to buy a similar amount. As for fruits and vegetables, there is no Zakat on them unless their proceeds reach the nisab and a full year has passed over them.
