How can a committed girl who is convinced of the obligation of the niqab in this era wear it, despite the strong opposition of her father, who does not pray and considers movies and TV series permissible, and despite her fear for the family's fate after her father previously forced her mother to remove her niqab, knowing that she goes out frequently for her practical studies?

The father should be advised gently and kindly, reminding him of Allah and his duty to establish prayer and abandon forbidden acts. Then, he should be informed of the intention to wear the niqab and its obligation. However, if it is highly probable that wearing it against his will would lead to unbearable harm, such as expulsion, then there is no sin in not wearing it, provided that the fear is based on an existing reason and not mere delusions. Adherence to Islamic guidelines for other clothing is mandatory. If Allah facilitates an exit through marriage, then she should hasten to wear the niqab. But if the harm is minor, such as reprimand, then it is not permissible to abandon it; rather, it is obligatory to wear it and face the harm with patience. We also draw attention to the regulations concerning studying in mixed environments.
