What should a girl do who is convinced of the obligation of wearing the niqab, but faces strong opposition from her mother and family, to the extent that her mother's health deteriorates when she wears it?

She should give her mother a choice between continuing her university studies while wearing the niqab, or leaving university and staying at home. She should try to convince her of the obligation of hijab, citing verse 59 of Surah Al-Ahzab. It must be emphasized that honoring one's parents is obligatory, as stated in verses 15 of Surah Al-Ahqaf and 23 of Surah Al-Isra, but obedience to Allah takes precedence over obedience to parents if they conflict, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator." This should be done with wisdom and respect.
