Is it permissible to read the archived messages (emails) exchanged between two parties with the intention of marriage, knowing that these messages do not contain submissive speech, but rather admonition and goodness, and that reading them helps in understanding the other party's personality, and the intention of marriage is still present?

Reading messages is permissible if they are free from any vice or suspicion. However, if it leads to the heart becoming attached to the man, or opens up an unlawful conversation with him, or causes discord, then it is not permissible, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Wabisa, consult your heart. Righteousness is that to which the soul feels tranquility and the heart feels at ease, and sin is that which wavers in your heart and causes hesitation in your chest, even if people give you a legal opinion and they give you a legal opinion." But if you are safe from discord and find a considerable benefit, then there is no harm, while remembering that Allah is aware of what is in the hearts.
