Is it permissible to remove excess hair from an eyebrow that contains a scar, as well as from the other eyebrow, for cosmetic purposes and to avoid bullying?

It is permissible to take from the hair of the eyebrow to remove an unusual defect or disfigurement, to the extent that achieves the desired outcome without excess, even if it necessitates taking from the sound eyebrow to make it symmetrical with the affected eyebrow. The prohibition of namṣ (plucking) was revealed for those who do it to increase beauty, as evidenced by the hadith: "Allah has cursed the women who tattoo and those who have themselves tattooed, and the women who pluck their eyebrows (al-nāmiṣāt), and those who widen the gaps between their teeth for beauty, those who change the creation of Allah." The fact that a sound eyebrow is not symmetrical with an affected eyebrow is considered a disfigurement, and it is permissible to take from it to remove that. Furthermore, there is a dispensation in some schools of thought regarding taking from the eyebrows, and there is no blame upon a Muslim for adopting a dispensation, especially when there is a need.
