Are there any hadiths indicating that old age is a reason for entering Paradise? And will a man remain in the Barzakh if Allah has decreed Paradise for him due to his old age?

Yahya ibn Aktham al-Qadi was a knowledgeable jurist. There were dream visions reported for him after his death, which included a dialogue with Allah, mentioning that Allah is too shy to punish an old man in Islam, and that Allah forgave him because of his grey hair. These dreams are not considered legal evidence, but a righteous vision is among the good tidings. Old age in itself is not a reason for entering Paradise or escaping Hellfire; rather, it is an invitation to repentance and good deeds. There are weak hadiths indicating that Allah does not punish a Muslim with grey hair, but none of them are authenticated. The life of Barzakh (interim life in the grave) is a blessing for the righteous Muslim and a torment for the wicked, whether young or old.
