What is the meaning of the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "Allah has left no excuse for a person whose life He has prolonged until he reached the age of sixty years"?

Al-Bukhari transmitted the Hadith of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: "Allah has removed the excuse from a person whose lifespan He extended until he reached sixty years." The meaning of this is that Allah has taken away the excuse of a person who has reached sixty, so he no longer has any justification to offer, or it means that Allah has been very lenient with him by not punishing him due to his long life, because sixty is close to the age of repentance, returning [to Allah], and anticipating death. Therefore, at that point, he should do nothing but seek forgiveness and adhere to acts of obedience.
