Is a person's death by a metal rod entering their head a bad end, or a raising of their ranks?

The manner of death is not an indicator of a bad ending, except for one who dies while committing a sin and is seized upon it. This is what is considered when judging whether an ending is good or bad: by looking at the state of the deceased, what deeds he concluded with, and in what path he died. So, whoever dies while performing a righteous deed and benefiting others, Allah has guided him to a righteous act before his death and then taken his soul while he was upon it. And whoever dies while committing a sin, this is indeed a bad ending.
