What is the ruling on someone who held the Qur’an in his hand and said, "I am more truthful than this," intending the Qur’an, when someone in the assembly accused him of lying?

What is between the covers of the Mus'haf is the Word of Allah, and it is the truest speech. It is not possible, neither lawfully nor rationally, for there to be any speech truer than it, as Allah Almighty says: ﴿And who is truer in speech than Allah?﴾ [An-Nisa: 87], and as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "To proceed: Verily, the truest speech is the Word of Allah." Therefore, a person's claim that his speech is truer than what is in the Mus'haf is a clear error and manifest deviation, by which its proponent becomes a disbeliever if the conditions for declaring one a disbeliever are met and there are no impediments, due to the contradiction therein to the Word of Allah and His Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him.
