Is it too late to seek knowledge at the age of 32, taking into consideration that "knowledge acquired in youth is like engraving on stone" and that the need for many years of study might affect the ability to engage in da'wah (inviting to Islam) in old age?

One can seek knowledge at any age, and old age is not an impediment to that. Memorization in childhood is not a prerequisite, and many Companions and scholars sought knowledge at an advanced age and became imams. It is recommended to begin seeking knowledge by committing to a trustworthy shaykh, as this is more beneficial and safer than relying solely on books.
