The answer

in is equivalent to Hajj with the Prophet (peace be upon him). Commercial insurance is prohibited, and whoever is forced into it may insure for the minimum legally required amount. If there was no negligence on your part in the accident, there is no sin, no guarantee, and no expiation. However, if darkness was the reason for not avoiding the accident, it is considered a wrongful act. If the woman died due to your action, her blood money is on your aqilah (male relatives on the paternal side) and you must free a slave or fast for two consecutive months. If her death was due to both of you, then half the blood money is on your aqilah. If her death was due to the other person, then there is no expiation upon you, and your aqilah is responsible for the blood money resulting from your action if it reaches one-third (of the full blood money), otherwise it is solely upon you.
