How can one get rid of frequent masturbation and overcome lust towards men?

Recalling the consequences of sins and being mindful of Allah Almighty's constant watch are the best means to deter a person from committing sins.

To prevent masturbation and similar acts, marriage is recommended for those who can afford it. If one cannot, then fasting is advised, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O young men, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding one's chastity. And whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for it will be a shield for him." If a person obeys Allah's command and takes the necessary means, Allah will help and guide him.
