Is anything incumbent upon me if I intentionally or unintentionally pass wind while attending a Qur'an lecture, even though my eyes are open and I am looking at the Qur'ans and what contains the remembrance of Allah?
If the reading is from the Mushaf (copy of the Qur’an) and the reader is not afflicted with urinary incontinence, it is not permissible to touch the Mushaf without ablution, according to the four Imams. As for reading from a mobile phone, with a barrier, or by heart, purity is not a condition for it, and the passing of wind does not matter in this case.
