How is it possible to reconcile the doctrine of Al-Wala' Wal-Bara' (Loyalty and Disavowal) with loving a Christian wife, and what are the conditions for marrying a Christian woman, considering that Allah has placed affection and mercy between spouses and permitted marriage to Christian women?

Love is divided into two categories: religious love and innate, natural love. Natural love is that which a person is innately predisposed to, such as the love for family, wealth, and spouse. There is no reward for it, and one may even sin if this love becomes excessive at the expense of their religion. Natural love can coexist with religious hatred. For example, a Muslim may naturally love his Kitābī (People of the Book) wife, yet hate her for her disbelief out of religious conviction. This does not contradict Islamic law.
