Will the Qur’an continue to refer to Jesus’s life in heaven after his descent and death?

The preponderant view among scholars is that Jesus, peace be upon him, is alive in heaven and has not yet died, due to the continuous and apparent authentic prophetic traditions. What is mentioned in the verses and hadiths regarding his life specifically refers to the period before his descent at the end of time. However, after his descent to earth and killing the Dajjal, he will die, and Muslims will pray over him and bury him in Medina, as mentioned in the narrations. There is nothing in the Quran that indicates his continued life after his descent to earth; rather, the Quran suggests the opposite in His (Allah's) saying: "And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in him before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection, he will be a witness against them."
