Is a mother's obedience paramount to a husband's obedience regarding his visit to his wife after the marriage contract, given the mother's refusal unless she is present, along with the husband's distant location and limited time?

If the mother is stubborn and prevents the husband from expediting the consummation of his marriage with his wife, then she is not to be obeyed in this matter, because the husband has the right to demand the handover of his wife to him without an excuse, as Ibn Qudamah mentioned. It is advised to reach an understanding with the father to hand over the wife to her husband, and to strive to convince the mother by explaining the religious ruling to her, while still upholding the duty to honor her and be kind to her.
