Does "al-Toukal" (eaten magic) remain in the human body throughout one's life, despite the fact that everything eaten is digested and then expelled? Does it have a special status, and how is it expelled? Does its effect become nullified upon its expulsion? Is there a detailed medical prescription for its expulsion?

"Al-Toukal" is a type of demonic possession (mass) in which jinn introduce food or a strange substance into the patient's stomach while they are asleep. This can occur either through a sorcerer commissioning the jinn or by the jinn acting on their own accord. It often happens due to negligence in remembering Allah (dhikr).

The treatment involves ruqyah (definition) (exorcism), consistent recitation of daily remembrances and sleep adhkār, reciting Ayat al-Kursī before sleep, and purging the stomach by drinking boiled water containing laxative herbs such as senna, basil, and castor (al-ʿashraj), while reciting the Quran over the water before drinking it.
