Does age affect marriage, or is it a destiny predetermined by God?

The statement that marriage is a matter of divine decree and destiny, and that a servant's faith is not complete without believing in it, means that Allah knew it, wrote it, willed it, and brought it into existence. This does not contradict the fact that a girl's advancing age reduces her chances of marriage, for this is merely an observation about people's customs and does not mean she will not marry. Indeed, many older women do marry by Allah's decree and destiny. Therefore, stating people's customs does not mean that Allah cannot ordain otherwise.
