What is the ruling on selling a sheikh's turban, which was donated to a charity, for an exorbitant amount in a public auction?

The aforementioned transaction is an auction sale, or what is known as a public auction, which is permissible by consensus, provided certain conditions are met. This type of sale is an exception to the prohibition of buying over another's purchase and bidding over another's bid.
