If a donor places shrouds in the mosque to be taken for free, it is not permissible to sell them or charge money for them. Those in charge of the mosque are agents of the donor and must adhere to his condition. If the shrouds exceed the need and become damaged, the surplus should be moved to another place for free benefit. If that is not possible, then the most appropriate action should be taken, either by selling them or using their components for another charitable purpose.
