Is the brownish discharge that appears one day or half a day after the cessation of menstruation and continues for three days intermittently and very scantily considered menstruation? If so, must I make up the days of fasting that I missed believing it was not menstruation, knowing that I do not keep count of them?

Yellowish and brownish discharges are considered menstruation if they occur during the customary period or are continuous with blood. If a woman sees brownish discharge after purification, and it is not during her customary period, she is not required to make up the days she fasted. However, if she fasted while considering that brownish discharge to be menstruation, she must make up those days. If she does not know their number, she should endeavor to make up what absolves her of her obligation.
