Did scholars differ regarding the interpretation of "the Straight Path" mentioned in Surat Al-Fatiha, as to whether it refers to the path in this world or the path in the hereafter, and which is the more valid opinion?

The Straight Path mentioned in the verse: (Guide us to the Straight Path) is the religion of Allah Almighty, which has no crookedness—that is, Islam. A servant's journey along it is through knowledge and action. Whoever remains steadfast on this path in this world will remain steadfast on the path of the Hereafter. The bridge that will be laid over Hell on the Day of Judgment is undoubtedly a path (sirāt), and it is called straight because of what is mentioned in the texts and its consideration in relation to walking on the Straight Path in this world.
