Does a garment become defiled if a woman is touched by discharge, even though the garment itself was not touched by this discharge?

The vaginal discharge of a woman is pure, according to the preponderant opinion, and does not render clothing impure. As for impure discharges like madhy (pre-seminal fluid), it does not render clothing impure merely by its emission until one is certain that it has stained it. In that case, the part of the garment stained by the impurity must be washed for prayer. If there is no certainty that the garment has been stained by impurity, the original state of its purity remains.
